Actress Elli AvrRam is going through a painful time after losing her grandmother. The Swedish-Greek actress, who is based in Mumbai, shared an emotional note on Instagram to remember her “Jiajiam.”

On August 31, Elli posted a heartfelt message along with a picture, writing, “Rip Jiajiam. It has been a blessing to grow up with my grandparents. Even though it breaks my heart that her journey has ended in this world, I feel peaceful knowing she is reunited with my Papou (grandfather).”

She also told fans that many of them had already seen her grandmother through her Instagram stories before dementia slowly took over her life.

Ending her note, Elli added, “Mou lipis jiajiam, s’agapo gia panda. Om Shanti.” The Greek words translate to, “I miss you grandma, I love you forever.”

For those who may not know, Elli AvrRam, whose full name is Elisabet Avramidou Granlund, is a Swedish-Greek actress who has made a name for herself in Indian cinema. She became popular after appearing on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ in 2013.

Later, she acted in Bollywood films like ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. Elli has also featured in several music videos and made a memorable special appearance with Aamir Khan in the song “Har Funn Maula” from the film ‘Koi Jaane Na’.
