After wrapping up the Mumbai schedule, the makers are shifting base to Goa for a long and important phase of filming.

All the main cast members will be part of this leg including Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor.
Adding fresh intrigue to the franchise is the entry of Jaideep Ahlawat.
While details about his character are being kept under wraps, his casting has already excited fans.
Akshaye Khanna’s exit has become one of the most talked-about topics around ‘Drishyam 3’. The actor has been earning praise for his recent performance in ‘Dhurandhar’. And he reportedly stepped away from ‘Drishyam 3’ due to disagreements over money and creative decisions.
Industry buzz suggests that Akshaye asked for significant hike in his fee with figures like ₹21 crore doing the rounds. The producers were reportedly unable to match this amount within the film’s budget.
Creative differences also seem to have played a role. Reports claim there were disagreements over his character’s look, including discussions around wearing a wig for continuity. The makers allegedly found this impractical for the sequel leading to further friction.
Neither side has made an official statement yet. But the silence has only added fuel to speculation.
