Arjun Kapoor has always given his best in all his performances and is known as an actor who has always gone the extra mile for the role he is playing.
The film is based on the third battle of Panipat and is a high-octane film. Arjun will be seen playing the role of Maratha leader Sadashivrao Bhau for which he has to undergo intense training and also learn Marathi.
A source told PinkVilla, “Arjun can speak Marathi but for this specific film he will get a dialect coach who will him grasp the nuances of the language that his character will require.”
Director Ashutosh Gowariker has teamed up with art director Nitin Desai to recreate Shaniwar Wada. He took this happy news and pictures of the location to Twitter. The film also casts Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. Director Gowariker, in an interview to Mid Day, talked about the actors. “What impresses me most about Arjun, apart from his fine performances, is his dynamism. He has played double roles twice [Aurangzeb, 2013 and Mubarakan, 2017], and has portrayed an action hero as well as a lover boy,” he said.
Gowarikar added, “I needed someone who is beautiful and a good performer (for the female lead). The eclectic combination of these three is a first for me, and I look forward to this exciting journey with them.”
Panipat is scheduled to hit the screens on December 6, 2019.
