Sonali Bendre gets nostalgic on 25 years of Aamir-starrer ‘Sarfarosh’, drops video
Sonali Bendre on Tuesday celebrated 25 years of her action thriller film 'Sarfarosh', starring Aamir Khan in the lead, by sharing a nostalgic video from the movie.
In a star-studded ensemble, actor Akshay Oberoi is all set to grace the screen alongside Bollywood icons Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover in the highly anticipated film ‘Fighter.’
Interestingly, ‘Fighter’ marks the second collaboration between Akshay Oberoi and Deepika Padukone, with their previous on-screen venture being the acclaimed film ‘Piku.’
Expressing his excitement about reuniting with Deepika, Akshay shared, “Working with Deepika Padukone is always a pleasure. She is one of the most thorough professionals I have ever had the opportunity to collaborate with. From our time on ‘Piku’ to now in ‘Fighter,’ nothing has changed. Her commitment to her craft and the collaborative spirit she brings to the set is truly commendable.”

Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, ‘Fighter’ promises adrenaline-pumping action. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 25.
Notably, Akshay Oberoi, an Indian-American actor, made his mark in the Hindi film industry, debuting with a child role in the 2002 comedy-drama ‘American Chai’. His journey includes a leading role in the Rajshri Productions film ‘Isi Life Mein’ (2010). It earned him critical acclaim for his outstanding performances.
Commencing his career at the prestigious Prithvi Theatre in Juhu alongside Makrand Deshpande, Oberoi initially contributed to backstage activities. Makrand, recognizing Oberoi’s talent, later extended an offer for a significant role in the production ‘Miss Beautiful.’
