Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta has accused senior actor Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on the sets of 2008 film Horn OK Pleasss, and this has shaken the film industry.
Tanushree has invited both support and criticism over the allegations made 10 years after the incident. The actor had made a complaint in 2008 too and has been consistent with her version of the sequence of events.
While a lot of people, including many from the film industry, have come out in her support, Nana Patekar has sent a legal notice to her.
Amid all these developments, a video has surfaced on the internet in which the 2008 Dutta’s car can be seen under attack after she walked out of the film of the sets of which she had been allegedly harassed. In the video, she van be seen leaving the sets of Horn Ok Pleasss after refusing to shoot a song.
The same video later shows Dutta in the backseat of her car with her driver and one more person in the front seat. The car is surrounded by many people some of which can be seen purportedly damaging the vehicle. The tyres were deflated, a man can be seen climbing on to and stomping on top of the car.
Here is the video.
After Dutta walked out of the movie, in which she was to do an item number, she had been replaced by Rakhi Sawant. According to 2008 reports in Times of India, Tanushree had filed a complaint with the Cine and Television Artistes Association (CINTAA) against damage to her property and reputation.
Meanwhile, Nana has denied all the allegations made against him.
Tanushree recently also alleged that film director Vivek Agnihotri had asked her to “strip and dance” on the sets of Chocolate: Deep Secrets in 2005 to give cue to actor Irrfan Khan, who she said stood up for her.
