Akshaye couldn’t contain his excitement as he shared, “I’ll let you in on the worst-kept secret in the industry – Alia Bhatt is leading the charge in a Spy Universe film, with filming slated to kick off later this year.”
Speaking of the Spy Universe’s significance, Akshaye described it as a powerhouse both financially and culturally, expressing pride in the studio’s prized IP. While he remained tight-lipped about further details, he promised more thrilling films under the Spy Universe umbrella.

Meanwhile, Alia is not resting on her laurels. She’s prepping for her upcoming flick ‘Jigra’, set to hit screens on September 27. Directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Karan Johar, ‘Jigra’ promises an intriguing tale of sibling love and sacrifice.
Vasan Bala, known for his work in crime thrillers like ‘Monica O My Darling’ and ‘Peddlers’, is at the helm of this project. The film was announced last September, accompanied by a gripping teaser that hinted at the emotional depth of the narrative.
