Ever since the film’s trailer was launched, this film has been able to create catch attention of the masses thanks to its creative promotional stints.
Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan, who were recently signed up as ambassadors for Prime Minister’s Skill India campaign, initiated a ‘Sui Dhaaga Challenge’ ahead of the film’s release. Under the challenge, the nominated person has to share a video of threading a needle.

Anushka Sharma shared the video and nominated Shah Rukh Khan for the challenge, and also urged fans to take on the challenge to spread the word further.
The 30-year old actor tweeted: “Humne toh kar diya! Ab aap sab ki baari !@iamsrk, ready to thread the needle for the #SuiDhaagaChallenge? The challenge is open to everyone.”
“So share your videos on social media tagging @yrf, @SuiDhaagaFilm with #SuiDhaagaChallenge & nominate your friends! #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia”, Anushka added.
The first celebrity to take on the challenge was Akshay Kumar who shared a video of himself attempting it and further nominated Sachin Tendulkar. The actor tweeted, “Mauji bhai @Varun_dvn here’s my attempt at the #SuiDhaagaChallenge, not as easy as it looks. I now nominate @sachin_rt”.
Directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Yash Raj Films, Sui-Dhaaga Made in India is the story of an unemployed small-town man who defies all odds and naysayers to start his own garment business.
The film is slated to release on 28 September 2018.
