Ajay Devgn is set to return to the period drama franchises’ once again and this time will star in and as Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
The film is being helmed by Om Raut and produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
The 50-year-old was last seen in the hit film De De Pyaar De alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu.

Ajay Devgn shared the first look poster on his official Twitter handle. He wrote, “MIND that was as sharp as a sword…#TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020.”
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior also starrs Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, Jagapathi Babu, Devdutta Nage, Pankaj Tripathi, Neha Sharma, Ajinkya Deo, Kailash Waghmare, Hardik Sangani, Luke Kenny, and Vipul Gupta.
The film is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, a warrior and military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji, founder of the Maratha Empire.
Ajay Devgn will portray the role of Subhedar Tanaji Malusare and Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod reported Pinkvilla.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is slated to release on 10 January 2020.
