‘Ae Peter, te ohne khoje hamare ke’: Manoj Bajpayee gives Big B’s ‘Deewaar’ dialogue a Bhojpuri twist on KBC
The exchange didn’t end there. Big B himself joined in, adding his own punch: “Ae dekha lalva, jha Khade ho vha tareke se khade raho, ae Police station hain jano, tohre baap ka ghar nahi hain.”
Bihar-born actor Manoj Bajpayee brought a dose of Bhojpuri flavour to the latest episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’. He appeared alongside his ‘The Family Man 3’ co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharib Hashmi.
During the episode, Bajpayee gave a unique twist to an iconic line from Amitabh Bachchan’s legendary film ‘Deewaar’, translating it into Bhojpuri. With a mischievous smile, he said, “Ae Peter, te ohne khoje hamare ke, hum ae ne baithal bane,” which roughly means, “Peter, you are looking for me there, I am sitting right here.”

Sony TV teased the upcoming episode with a short clip writing, “Dekhiye ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ iss Friday raat 9 baje sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision and Sony LIV par.”
But the conversation quickly shifted to ‘The Family Man 3’, where Bajpayee returns as the sharp and witty intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari. For him, stepping back into Srikant’s shoes was more than just another role, it felt like coming home. Bajpayee called it a “true homecoming,” saying fans had been asking for four long years, “Kab aa raha hai Srikant Tiwari?” and finally the wait is over.
In his statement, he expressed excitement about the new season, which promises higher stakes and a bolder storyline for Srikant.
“This season is bigger, bolder, and more exciting, putting Srikant in situations with no easy way out,” he said. Bajpayee also credited directors Raj and DK for their “vision and masterful storytelling,” and thanked Prime Video for supporting the show, which he called one of the most-loved Indian series today.
Manoj Bajpayee says the 'Ghooskhor Pandat' controversy went far beyond film criticism. The actor received death threats and watched trolls drag his 15-year-old daughter into the dispute.
The trailer opens with India on the verge of bankruptcy and one man tasked with stopping the collapse. Bajpayee's line "If I fail, India fails" sums up the film's entire premise.
A fan reportedly collapsed during Amitabh Bachchan’s Sunday darshan outside Jalsa in Mumbai as soaring heat and overcrowding briefly turned the gathering chaotic.
