Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is one of the biggest stars in the country. His stardom has crossed borders, and people are well aware of that. Touted as the world’s biggest superstar, Aamir Khan has an unfathomable fan base across the globe. However, the actor is particularly more loved in China.

His growing fan-following became one of the reasons why promotions for his next film at a university got cancelled. On his recent promotional tour to China, the Dangal actor was supposed to attend an event in a Chinese university. However, a huge crowd turned up to see the star leaving the authorities in a panic.

Aamir Khan, who recently visited China for promoting his recent film was invited as a special guest at the Guangzhou University, which is designed to accommodate 400 people.

As the news of the actor visiting the university broke, people started turning up for the event in large numbers. Over 3000 people were seen jostling for space in the small auditorium, forcing the authorities to cancel the event.

Further, during his promotions, the Chinese authorities increased Aamir Khan’s security to avoid similar situations.

With 3 Idiots gaining immense popularity in China, Aamir Khan opened doors to Indian cinema in China. As Dangal released in the neighbouring country, it created history by becoming the highest-grossing Indian film in China.
