One of the most anticipated film of the year 2018, 2.0, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, released worldwide on Thursday. The reviews of the sci-fi film, directed by S Shankar, have been applauded by the audience.

But the film has made it to the web in a pirated form, on website Tamilrockers, which has surprised the audience once again.

After eight years of Robot (2010) with the Chitti avatar, Rajinikanth returns to do it again in the sequel, 2.0. It’s the most expensive Indian film with a budget of Rs 543 crore (USD 76 million).

The high search volume for “how to download 2.0” is worrying Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth fans. They are urging authorities to take action against the websites.

However, this is not the first time a Bollywood film has been hit by piracy, which affects the overall box office performance of films. Earlier, Thugs of Hindostan and Kaala were leaked online by the Tamilrockers.

The audience has found 2.0 as a total entertainer are are showering praise on VFX. Rajinikanth fans can’t keep clam after seeing the film, and the look of Akshay Kumar is mind blowing.

The S Shankar directorial has Akshay Kumar playing an ornithologist who believes birds and animals are being affected by mobile phone radiations.

The film crossed the 1 million ticket sales mark on BookMyShow even before its release. The Lyca Productions film has been released a Hindi version distributed by Dharma Productions. The film has also been released in Telugu.

The film also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles.
