The online application process to all PG courses (English, Political Science, Bengali), M.Com, M.Sc in Computer Science, M.Sc in Physics, M.Sc in Microbiology has begun and will continue till 20 May.

Kolkata St. Xavier’s College has started their admission process for the current academic year. This year they have drawn up separate admission schedules for state board students and for students of other boards.

Results of ISC and CBSE class XII examinations have already been declared and state higher secondary results will be published by the first week of June.

“With the different time schedules of the publication of results, we changed the admission dates. First year inaugurations and commencement of classes of all the under-graduate and integrated courses will take place on 1 July,” principal Father Dominic Savio said.

The entrance examination for BMS (ISC/CBSE boards) is scheduled on 1 June and for WBHS board it is on 8 June.

For UG and integrated courses (English, Political Science sociology, Bengali, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Microbiology, BA General, Computer Science, MCV, five year integrated M.Sc course in Biotechnology, five year integrated M. Sc course in Multimedia) the admission process for all boards began on 6 May and shall continue till 7 June.

First list of selected candidates for interview will be published for B.Com and BMS for ISC and CBSE boards on 4 June and for WBHS and other boards on 13 June.

Lists for English, Political Science, Sociology, Bengali, BA General will be published on 13 June, for Economics, Computer Science, Microbiology, five year integrated M.Sc. course in Biotechnology on 14 June and for Physics, chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, MCV, five year integrated M. Sc course in Multimedia on 18 June.

The entrance examination for MCV and M.Sc Multimedia will be held on 10 June.

For post-graduate candidates, online application process to all PG courses (English, Political Science, Bengali), M.Com, M.Sc in Computer Science, M.Sc in Physics, M.Sc in Microbiology has begun and will continue till 20 May.

The admission test for all PG courses will be held on 25 May. First list of the selected candidates will be published on 25 May and classes will commence on 10 July.

This year onwards, the college is going to introduce online Admit card systems for semester examinations where all the students can view their eligibility and can download their admit cards for semester examinations directly from the college website.
