Low voting again witnessed in 2nd phase of polling in UP
In the first phase of polling in 8 seats of UP, the overall polling percentage was around 61 %
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday allotted portfolios to four new ministers inducted as cabinet minister last week.
According to officials here, SBSP president and cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has been given the responsibility of Panchayati Raj, Muslim Waqf and Haj and Minority Welfare Department.
BJP MLC Dara Singh Chauhan has been made the Prison Minister while RLD MLA while Anil Kumar has been given the responsibility of Science and Technology Department. BJP MLA Sunil Kumar Sharma has been made the Minister of Electronics and Information Department.

However, Minister of State with Independent Charge Dharamveer Prajapati, who earlier held the jail and Home guards Department, has now been given the responsibility of Civil Defense Department.
A week ago, Om Prakash Rajbhar, Dara Singh Chauhan, Anil Kumar and Sunil Kumar Sharma had taken oath as cabinet ministers taking the total strength of the ministers to 56 in the state.
