The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) organised a two-day Flower Food Festival at the Palika Services Officers Institute (PSOI Club), Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The two-day Flower Food Festival, which concluded on Sunday, promised a unique gastronomic experience, featuring food with the special flavour of flowers. The entry in this Flower Food Festival was free for all and was held from 12 noon to 9 pm.

The highlights of the festival include an assortment of flower-based dishes such as Mocha Ghonta, Mochar Chop, Kumro Phuler Bora, Gulkand, Buransh Squash, Gulab Sattu sarbat, Gulab Ki Kheer, Zafarani Awadhi Murgh Biryani Phool Ke Baney Rang, Millet Based Energy Bar-Rose marry, Millet based protein bar each carefully crafted to contain the essence of spring.

NDMC Chairman Amit Yadav inaugurated ‘NDMC Flower Food Festival’ at the Palika Services Officers Institute in the presence of Council Members Vishakha Shailani and Girish Sachdeva on Saturday.

After inaugurating the NDMC’s Flower Food Festival, Yadav said the main attraction of the ‘NDMC Flower Food Festival’ is the Flower based Food which is mainly prepared with the essence of flowers. Different varieties of flower add a pinch of taste in the food at NDMC Flower Food Festival
