They were wanted in connection with a case that was registered on May 21 at Kalindi Kunj police station, under multiple sections, including 109(1), 115(2), and 3(5) BNS, related to the murder of Samsad.

The incident occurred on the night of May 20–21, during a heated family dispute in Kalindi Kunj.

As per the reports, it has been indicated that the accused attacked the victims with knives and other weapons, leaving several injured.

“Samsad later succumbed to grievous injuries sustained in the assault. While six suspects were arrested earlier, the trio remained absconding and were declared proclaimed offenders on September 15, 2025,” said Pankaj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).

The NDR/Crime Branch team initiated a meticulous operation to trace the absconders.

“Using intelligence networks and technical surveillance, the team tracked the accused to DSIDC, Narela Industrial Area, where the woman and her sister were apprehended, and Izaam was arrested after she disclosed his location during interrogation,” the DCP mentioned.

Interrogation revealed that the motive stemmed from long-standing family tensions. The woman was previously married to the brother of the deceased, who had committed suicide.

Following this, the deceased Samsad reportedly harassed the woman’s sister, and his own wife, angered by the harassment, along with family members, attacked him, resulting in his death.

The accused have been formally charged under Section 35(1)(d) BNSS and produced before the court.
