Delhi: Man shot dead in Rohini, raising strong suspicions of gang war
A man named Sahil was shot dead in Delhi's Rohini area. Sahil had recently been released from jail. The attacker is absconding, and a gang war is suspected.

Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Harini Amarasuriya on Friday toured a Delhi Government School located in the city’s North West Pocket in Rohini.
She was accompanied by Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood during her visit to the Sarvodaya Vidyalaya as she witnessed the modern teaching practices adopted by the capital’s learning centres.

Sood showcased the upgraded facilities, including the smart classrooms, modern teaching techniques, and advanced digital tools adopted in the government schools, during her visit.

Amarasuriya interacted with students and teachers of the school on various subjects and observed classroom activities. “The students showcased their projects and shared their experiences of digital learning, which deeply impressed the Sri Lankan delegation,” read the press note.
According to the official communication from the department, the Sri Lankan PM commended the Delhi Government’s education policy, stating that “this model could serve as an inspiration for other developing nations.”
On this occasion, Sood expressed pride, saying that it is a matter of great honour that the Prime Minister has visited a Delhi Government school to witness our education model. Delhi’s Government schools are now emerging as a benchmark for the world.
He added that education for the Delhi Government is not merely a means of employment but the most powerful instrument for equality and social progress.
