Two Special Investigation Teams (SIT) have been formed and raids are being conducted in villages near Jehanabad in Bihar following the alleged incident of a girl being molested by a group of boys, the video of which went viral on Sunday.
According to reports, four persons have been arrested in connection with the incident that sent shockwaves in the state. The video shows a group of young men trying to disrobe a girl and abduct her. The girl is seen vehemently struggling to escape the group.
Reports state that 7-8 young men can be seen in the video, which was shot by one of their associates. An FIR was lodged at the Town police station under various sections of the IPC and the POCSO Act.

The incident happened in broad daylight. A bike seen in the video helped the police trace the incident to Sihati village.
The video was removed from social media but was still available on instant messaging platforms.
Jehanabad SP Maneesh will lead one of the SITs. The IG has asked the police to arrest the youths whose faces are visible in the video.
