In the ongoing entrepreneurial journey of the country, the 4th Bharat Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 was held on Saturday at the NDMC Convention Centre in the national capital, recording participation from entrepreneurs representing different states and union territories.
They showcased the diversity, inclusivity, and resilience of the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with over 5,000 nominations, reaffirming the summit’s position as an impactful platform for startups and innovators.

Delhi’s Industries minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa was also present on the occasion, who praised the initiative of identifying entrepreneurs from even the remotest parts of the country, and honouring them on such a grand stage.
Sirsa lauded the centre’s ongoing efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to nurture startups through multiple schemes, enabling self-employment, job creation, and economic prosperity across India.
The minister also said that it is a matter of pride that Delhi’s talented entrepreneurs are being recognised, whose innovations, ideas, and hard work are propelling the country towards self-reliance.
The summit was inaugurated under the leadership of Abhishek Kumar, President of EAI, while several dignitaries, including Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh, Amitabh Verma, were present among others at the event.
Entrepreneurs from grassroots innovators to fast-scaling startups were felicitated with prestigious recognitions such as the Bharat Incubator Award, Bharat Entrepreneur Award, and Social Change Maker Award.
Parmesh Shah, World Bank, delivered his address on innovation in Agri-startups, and rural job creation, while the session also featured eminent speakers Dr Sambit Patra (MP, Rajya Sabha ) Dr Rashmi Singh (Secretary, Dept of Women & Child Development), Saurabh Shah (Director, Power Finance Corporation), and others who discussed the rising role of AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science in startups, urging young entrepreneurs to embrace technology-driven opportunities.
Unlike traditional events restricted to metros, this summit achieved unprecedented inclusivity, drawing participation from Tier-2, Tier-3 towns, and rural districts through extensive partnerships with state governments, incubation centres, industry bodies, universities, and farmer innovation hubs.
The EAI, founded in 2011, which hosted the summit, is a not-for-profit organisation committed to strengthening the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem for over 13 years.
