Responding to AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj’s statement over CM Rekha Gupta visiting Bihar, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva on Monday said that he must explain as to what was wrong with her visit to Bihar during the polls, adding that what will Bharadwaj have to say about Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s regular visits to Gujarat, when the state was affected by floods and Atishi’s visit to Goa.
Sachdeva said the “AAP” leaders should explain that if presently, when Delhi’s average AQI has been around 310, they are pushing forward an organization to label Delhi as a “gas chamber,” then where were they and their concerns during the last three years when on November 3 the AQI was recorded as 382, 468, and 450 respectively, the Delhi BJP chief questioned.

Delhi BJP chief claimed that the people of the city are astonished by the statements made by the AAP leaders like Manish Sisodia and former minister Bharadwaj, on the city’s pollution.
Sachdeva stated that although Delhi’s pollution situation is concerning, the residents are also aware that the city’s air quality has witnessed improvement over the past few years.
The BJP leader further alleged that Bharadwaj is known for making fabricated statements, and further said that he must explain why, when Delhi’s average AQI is around 310 on Monday, the AAP leader is promoting an organization, which is calling Delhi a gas chamber, whereas in the past three years, on November 3, 2024, 2023, and 2022, the AQI levels were recorded at 382, 468, and 450 respectively, Sachdeva claimed.
He also assured that the BJP-led government is responsible enough, and the environment minister is continuously working with environmental experts on the pollution issue.
Sachdeva also mentioned that it is something normal for CMs and ministers from different states to travel and campaign during elections.
