In a horrific incident that underlines the pathetic condition of women in India, a girl, who is a minor, was allegedly raped by four men in four days in three different places while she was on her way back home from school.

The incident happened in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh. The 15-year-old girl had on 16 July ran away from school and was heading home when she was raped by the men at different places and on different days.

When the girl did not return from school, her worried parents filed a missing complaint on 17 July at Nemawar police station.

The police found the girl a few days later on Sandalpur Road. The girl narrated her ordeal to the cops on Friday, 20 July.

The police said that the girl had boarded a bus for home after running away from school.

“The conductor of the bus raped her through the night. After the conductor dropped her at a different place, the girl was approached by two bikers who offered to drop her home,” said Nemawar police station Sajjan Singh Mukati.

The bikers, who are believed to be minors, then allegedly took her to their village, kept her captive for two days and raped her.

When the girl tried to return home after the horrific ordeal, she met another biker known to her. This fourth person took the girl in the jungles and raped her.

The police said that all the four accused have been arrested and charged with rape. The girl has been sent for medical examination.
