According to the rural belt leader, maintaining the ecological balance is crucial in the present day scenario with technology advancing at lightening speed and cities expanding rapidly.
He said tree plantation campaigns such as “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” are positive initiatives which help combat climate change while helping improve air quality.
After planting a sapling at the Palam Village in South West Delhi, Solanki urged citizens to transform from being passive observers to active protectors of mother nature. He remarked that environmental protection has become an existential necessity, especially for a city like Delhi, which has witnessed rapid infrastructure and population expansion in the recent past.
In an appeal to people, especially those coming from agricultural backgrounds, Solanki urged them to come forward and support the plantation drives, as they have the right knowledge.
