Amid rising cybercrime cases nationwide, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in collaboration with Delhi Police, Gurugram Police, Noida Police, and Ghaziabad Police, organised a large-scale Cybercrime Awareness Campaign on Sunday.
Nearly 80 street plays were staged at key public locations across Delhi-NCR to educate citizens—particularly the youth—about cyber safety and reporting mechanisms.

Around 40 student teams from schools and colleges used theatre to deliver impactful messages on cyber hygiene, safe digital practices, and the use of official cybercrime reporting channels.
Cyber police stations under Delhi Police coordinated 45 street plays across the city. In Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Noida, students performed 17, 10, and 7 plays respectively, with active support from the cybercrime units of the respective Police Commissionerates.
The campaign highlighted grievance redressal systems for cyber frauds, including the National Cybercrime Helpline (1930) and the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in).
Citizens were also encouraged to follow I4C-MHA’s official social media handle “CyberDost,” which regularly shares tips and updates on safeguarding against cybercrime.
