Some areas of Delhi-NCR received light rainfall between Friday morning and afternoon, causing the traffic to slow down. Traffic congestion was reported at several locations, including the Okhla underpass, Sarita Vihar on Mathura Road, and parts of Noida.
Between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, light rain was recorded at Palam (8.2 mm) and Ridge (2.6 mm) stations.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the morning showers kept the maximum temperature at 30.6°C, nearly five degrees below normal. The minimum temperature settled at 25.6°C, rising by 2.6 degrees over the last 24 hours. By late afternoon, the mercury had climbed to a high of 33.2°C.
Despite overcast skies and little to no rainfall through much of the day, humidity levels remained high—ranging between 68% and 90%, as per IMD data.
The IMD has forecast partly cloudy skies and very light to light rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, in the Delhi-NCR region over the next few days. Both maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to stay near normal.
As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s air quality was in the “satisfactory” category at 4 p.m., with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 79. The major pollutant was PM10, which was the dominant pollutant at 33 out of 39 monitoring stations across the city.
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51–100 “satisfactory”, 101–200 “moderate”, 201–300 “poor”, 301–400 “very poor”, and 401–500 “severe”.
