He added, “On October 5, around 8 a.m., while patrolling near Bikaner Chowk in Karol Bagh as part of Operation 1, the Jaguar team noticed a man behaving suspiciously. Upon checking, the team recovered 3.718 kg of opium from his bag.”
The man was identified as 24-year-old Aditya Luhar, a tea stall owner from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. He was immediately detained and booked under the NDPS Act.
In another operation on October 4, the same team intercepted two juveniles riding a scooter on Pusa Road in Karol Bagh. A search led to the recovery of 1.650 kg of cannabis, the police said.
