Having provided more than 400 services and schemes on a single platform ~ Antyodaya Saral ~ Haryana is aiming to provide all services and schemes under one roof. That’ll save people trouble of visiting different departments for different works.

The information was given after a meeting of Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates held under the chairmanship of CM Manohar Lal Khattar late Sunday evening.

Haryana credits itself for having become the first state to provide more than 400 services and schemes on a single platform to all citizens at district headquarters, sub-division and tehsil level.

An official claimed that following the success of the scheme, there has been increasing interest in Antyodaya Saral model across the country. The CM said that these are online facility centres which have been established to reduce departmental walk-ins.

The aim is to deliver all services and schemes to people under one roof so that they may not have to visit different departments for different works. Everything will be online so that people can also check the status of their applications, he said.

It was informed that these schemes and services are on one online platform with five features including online application, online status tracking, proactive status SMSs, review dashboard and notifications to officials.

As many as 79 of 115 centres are already operational and the remaining would also be ready by year end, the official said.

He added that some innovative measures had been adopted to further streamline delivery of services to citizens. Soft skill training was imparted to operators to improve citizen-operator interaction and awareness camps were organised with sarpanches to spread awareness about Antyodaya Bhawan.

About three lakh citizens have applied through the new system. The average monthly footfall in Saral Kendra at headquarters level is 3,975, whereas, it is 1,422 in Antyodaya Saral Kendra at sub-division level. At Antyodaya Saral Kendra at tehsil level the average monthly footfall is 560 compared to 720 in Antyodaya Bhawan at headquarters level.
