FS Misri arrives in Berlin for India-Germany Foreign Office consultations
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Tuesday arrived at Berlin for India-Germany Foreign Office consultations.
Expanding the domain of youth skill development and structured mobility of workforce between Germany and India, a German delegation led by Frankfurt City Parliament member Rahul Kumar is going to visit Uttarakhand towards the end of the month.

Expanding the domain of youth skill development and structured mobility of workforce between Germany and India, a German delegation led by Frankfurt City Parliament member Rahul Kumar is going to visit Uttarakhand towards the end of the month.
Kumar, while speaking to reporters on Friday in New Delhi had said that he wants to develop a platform where people from India and Germany can connect with ease in different career domains.

According to Kumar, the purpose of the visit of the German delegation is to explore partnerships with local training institutions and skilling agencies, and also exploring opportunities for trained youth in Germany.

He also informed that he is in touch with the Haryana government, where opportunities are being offered to people to collaborate with Germany on different projects.
Promoting bilateral investment in the field of education, mobility and healthcare sectors is also going to be the aim, Kumar had said.
In a recent visit to the country, Kumar held high level meetings with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and also engaged in discussions with government representatives from Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand.
He had also met the German Ambassador to New Delhi, in a bid to further explore avenues of Indo- German cooperation.
Earlier, In the year 2024, Kumar led a high-level delegation to India, visiting Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, where he met with key political and business leaders.
As a flagship initiative, Kumar had launched German language institutes in Haryana and facilitated vocational training placements in Germany, and within just one year, 35 students have already relocated to
Germany, marking the first wave of structured educational exchange and career building migration.
