The sixth India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) at Pragati Maidan organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in association with CIFI concluded Saturday with the award presentation ceremony.

The government has a clear focus to reduce the logistic, capital, and power costs in the industry to provide the necessary impetus to the industry.

The awards were presented by B.K. Dubey, General Manager, ITPO, and R.K. Gupta, President CIFI.

Awards were given away in different categories. Some of these include Machinery & Equipment category for which Allure Enterprises was presented the Gold Medal, Varun International received the Silver Trophy, the Bronze Medals was presented to Ramana Machines, the Award of appreciation was given to Goldstone International Private Limited, and Neelgiri Machinery Global Pvt. Ltd.

In the Component Category, Alert India Pvt. Ltd. was honoured with the Gold, Silver to Height Buildcon, the Silver and the Bronze trophies were presented to both Rajiv Phylon Pvt. Ltd. the Award of appreciation was given to Klassik Lamitex Pvt. Ltd. And Parma Textiles Pvt. Ltd.

In the category of Chemicals: Rajshila Synthetics was commended with the Gold Trophy, Pidilite Industries received the Silver while Freedom Chemtech LLP won the Bronze, and Shalimar Overseas Pvt. Ltd. and Allied Industries received the Award of appreciation.

In the Footwear Category, Walkaroo International Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the Gold, Silver Footwear Klick India, Global Exports received the Bronze Trophy and Alpine Poly Rub and Welcome Shoes Pvt. Ltd. received the Award of Appreciation.

Complimenting CIFI and other apex bodies for the sixth edition of the IIFF, B.K. Dubey, General Manager assured the next edition of IIFF will be held on a larger scale.

“In 2019 the area was 3700 sq.meters. and this year it is 4600 sq.meters. and the next edition it will be held in the new halls with a larger area,” he said.
