Delhi Police Commissioner requests Delhiites to help keep the city safe

Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik requested them to make the city safer by devoting some thought to the security of their homes, residential areas, and neighbourhood.

Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik on Tuesday, while wishing Delhiites a Happy New Year, requested them to help the city police make the city safer by devoting some thought to the security of their homes, residential areas, and neighbourhood.

“As we, in Delhi Police, focus on improving our visibility, response and service-delivery, we request the citizenry also to devote some thought to the¬†security of their home and colony. With police and public partnership, we can make Delhi a lot safer. Wish you a very Happy New Year 2019,” Patnaik tweeted.

Amulya Patnaik is a 1985 batch Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory cadre officer who took the office a year ago on January 30, 2017.
