The Delhi Police on Thursday filed an FIR against an unknown person for allegedly making obscene calls to a 21-year-old girl in South Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar.
According to a senior police source, the FIR was lodged after receiving a complaint in this regard.
“A PCR Call of harassment and stalking was received at PS Ambedkar Nagar yesterday at 5 o’clock. When the 21-year-old complained that she was getting harassing phone calls from several unidentified cellphone numbers, the police officers arrived at the scene. A case has been filed under sections 354(D) and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in accordance with the complaint’s contents “the top police officer stated.
