Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that Delhi represents the unity of India by celebrating every culture, language, and tradition with equal respect. “This is the true identity of Delhi and the real strength of India,” he remarked.

The minister added that the Delhi Government has decided to mark every State Foundation Day with grandeur, honouring each state’s unique contribution to the nation’s progress.

Highlighting recent festivities, Singh noted that the Chhath Mahaparv was celebrated on a historic scale this year, with lakhs of devotees participating enthusiastically across the city.

He credited this inclusive cultural atmosphere to the “visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta,” stating that Delhi is witnessing such magnificent celebrations for the first time.
