Adding to his statement further, he said, all other types of firecrackers, including traditional, larries, and online or courier-supplied products, remain completely banned. Violations will attract strict legal action.
Bursting of green crackers will be allowed in two limited windows: 6:00–7:00 AM and 8:00–10:00 PM on the day before Diwali and on Diwali day, the officer mentioned.
The Delhi Police has mobilized special patrolling and enforcement teams to monitor compliance. Citizens are encouraged to celebrate Diwali responsibly and report any violations via helpline 112.
