The Delhi Police have alleged that the protesters who raised pro-Naxal slogans vandalized a police station by breaking printers and throwing files.
In a remand note accessed by this newspaper, the police stated they possess evidence proving the protesters’ support for a militant movement in Jharkhand and Naxalites. The protesters are also accused of concealing their identities.

The police have alleged that all the protesters provided the court with incorrect addresses and failed to produce their Aadhaar cards. According to the remand note, the local police could not verify the addresses of the accused—Ravjot, Gurkirat, and Shresth Mukund—which proved they were “not only making a mockery of the law but also deliberately hiding their identity.”

“The accused persons were so violent in the police station that they threw files and the printer of the Investigating Officer in her room; the broken printer has been seized as evidence,” the Delhi Police remand note stated.
The police also mentioned prior criminal involvement, noting that “Kranti alias Priyanshu” is linked to a case at PS Kartavya Path, and that FIRs were previously lodged against Gurkirat with PS Maurice Nagar and Vasant Kunj South PS.
The remand notes further detailed that the accused Abhinash Satyapati, along with co-accused Satyam Yadav and three others, were earlier detained at PS Model Town for allegedly hiding their identities.
The police claim to have video evidence from the Press Club showing accused Ravjot stating that they are “with the Militant movement of Jharkhand,” while accused Kranti alias Priyanshu Singh shared the same stage. “Later they staged the protest for Naxals,” the police remand read.
“There is an apprehension that the above accused persons have deep-rooted associations with anti-national movements of Naxalites and Militants, which is to be unearthed,” the police claimed.
They further alleged the protesters were supporting Naxalite Madvi Hidma and Maoist Basavaraj. Several videos from PS Parliament Street reportedly show them demanding the release of a “Comrade,” blocking the way of police officers, hitting them, and refusing to cooperate despite appeals and warnings, as well as abusing the officers.
“The videos of the main gate of PS Parliament Street are on record, which show that some other co-accused persons fled from the spot. The wanted accused persons are to be identified and arrested, and the accused persons are to be confronted with CCTV footage and video recordings,” the remand note read.
The police have registered two FIRs in connection with the incident.
Two separate FIRs have been lodged in this matter with the Parliament Street Police Station and the Tughlak Road Police Station. The court was hearing the case related to the Parliament Street Police Station.
