Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday announced the launch of 51 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the national capital, calling it a reflection of her government’s speed and scale in expanding primary healthcare services.

In a post on X, Gupta said that within just one year, 370 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been made operational across Delhi. She noted that residents are already benefiting from easier access to medical tests, treatment and essential medicines within their own neighbourhoods.

“Today, 51 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been inaugurated in Delhi. In just one year, the start of 370 centres is proof of our government’s speed and scale. The biggest benefit is reaching Delhi residents, who now have access to tests, treatment and necessary medicines in their own areas,” she said.

Gupta added that the government is working towards establishing more than 1,100 such centres across the city to ensure that every citizen can access reliable and quality healthcare close to home.

According to the Chief Minister, the facilities offer free diagnostic tests, free medicines, advanced diagnostic services, cancer screening, vaccination services, and maternal and child healthcare.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Member of Parliament Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar, municipal councillor Sundar Singh Tanwar and several other dignitaries.

The expansion forms part of the government’s broader push to strengthen local healthcare infrastructure in Delhi.
