He claimed that with the policies of Delhi government and its schemes, presently the city is the most prosperous place in the country for all.

Praising the budget prepared by Delhi finance minister Atishi, the CM said, ” Today’s budget is a very emotional moment for me personally as we are very common and simple people and do not come from political families and had never thought of entering politics and being elected to such posts.”

“We have never seen politics as politics, and try to care for the city and every family as I try to do for my own family,” he added.

”I have tried the kind of education my kids got, all children of Delhi should get that, the Delhi CM said while stressing how important education reforms were in the eyes of the AAP government.

Kejriwal also praised the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojna, saying that it is the world’s biggest programme towards nari empowerment, and added that the scheme will benefit around 45 lakh to 50 lakh women.

He said that the scheme will be notified this year, and this will benefit all the women above 18 years of age.
