Security forces will soon launch an operation to flush out Pakistani and local terrorists from the high reaches in the Kashmir valley where they are believed to be hiding to strike during the winters.
A CRPF jawan was injured today when terrorists attacked a security forces’ team here in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The terrorists fired upon the security forces’ party at a checkpost near Batamaloo area of the city, a police official said.
He said a CRPF jawan was injured in the incident. The area has been cordoned off for searches, police said.
The injured jawan was shifted to a hospital, the official said, adding that further details were awaited.
