The body was located in a densely overgrown area at the rear of the railway property. During a search of the spot, investigators recovered potential evidence, including a pair of women’s slippers, a pair of men’s slippers, and other materials that may be linked to the crime.
The scene was examined by a forensic team from the FSL, which collected samples for analysis. As part of the investigation, authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify suspects or trace the woman’s movements prior to the incident.
The woman’s identity remains unknown. Police have registered a murder case at the Mahendra Park police station and formed special teams to investigate. Efforts are underway to locate her family or acquaintances.
