A senior officer, in a statement, mentioned, “Last year in November, two crude bombs exploded outside popular clubs in Chandigarh, targeting Seville Bar and Lounge, owned by Badshah, and De Orra Club, owned by local businessmen. “During investigation, the CCTV footage was analysed, and it came out that a man threw bombs at the clubs before fleeing the scene,” he added.

The explosion shattered the club’s glass windows. However, no casualties were reported, the officer said.
Hours after the incident, Brar, who was then linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility through a Facebook post. An unverified post also claimed Brar and another gangster, Rohit Godara, were involved.
Following an encounter, two suspects were arrested in Haryana’s Hisar district in November. The operation was carried out jointly by Chandigarh Police and the Haryana Special Task Force. Both accused were shot in the leg before being taken to a hospital for treatment, the officer mentioned.
