In a major breakthrough, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has apprehended one juvenile and arrested four other accused involved in a court shootout at Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh and murder of Youth Congress leader Vikas Chaudhary in Faridabad, Haryana.
Not only this, the accused were also found involved in the murder of one Pradeep, accused in sacrilege incident of Punjab, double murder of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and a sensational murder outside court in Nagaur, Rajasthan.
Apart from the juvenile, the other four accused have been identified as Deepak Kumar (32), Anoop Dawa (26), Jai Bhagwan Singh (37), and Akshay Baliyan (25). Six pistols, two country made firearms along with around 30 cartridges.

According to the police, accused Deepak is the mastermind behind the murder during the Nagaur Court shootout, while the accused Akshay was wanted in multiple cases of murders registered in Haryana, Punjab, UP, and Rajasthan and gold robbery case of Pune, Maharashtra.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Counter Intelligence Unit, Manishi Chandra said that all the highly desperate criminals were caught during an operation launched by the team of Special Cell led by the Inspectors Dalip, Vikram and Nishant, and under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Rahul Vikram.
The DCP said that during the operation carried out by the team of Special Cell, wanted criminal Deepak Kumar, who was running wanted in the sensational murder of one Sandeep Sethi, outside Court complex in Nagaur, Rajasthan, in a gang war was arrested from near Majnu ka Tila in Delhi. In the follow-up operation, his other associates were also subsequently arrested.
According to the police, following the leads that emerged, accused Anoop Dawa, Jai Bhagwan and the juvenile were apprehended from near Anand Vihar Bus Terminal, Delhi.
With these arrests, it also emerged that the lead shooter was a desperate criminal Akshay, who was arrested from Dehradun, Uttrakhand.
Further investigation of the case is in progress.
