The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested a 22-year-old youth for allegedly stabbing another youth over repayment of a loan of Rs 5,000 in Rohini, an official said.
“On October 5, we received information from Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital about a 22-year-old man named Ravi, a resident of Indira JJ Camp in Rohini, who had been admitted with serious stab wounds to his neck,” a senior officer mentioned in his statement.

He said a case under Section 109(1) (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered at the South Rohini police station.
Investigation into the case was taken up by the officers with a thorough scanning of CCTV footage of the vicinity, he said, adding that, based on CCTV footage and intelligence inputs, Ritik, alias Sawan, was identified and subsequently arrested.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to attacking the victim over the non-repayment of a Rs 5,000 loan, the police said.
The knife used in the attack was recovered from his possession, the officer added.
The police said Sawan is a habitual offender and has previously been involved in six criminal cases.
Further investigation into this case is ongoing by the team, the police stated.
