Vistara airline has announced the launch of Airborne, a comic book designed to educate and sensitise young travellers, and answer all queries of the curious minds, about the nuances of air travel. The illustrations explain how things work from the moment travellers books a ticket to the time they exit the airport terminal after completing a journey, covering all customer touchpoints.

Using easy language in a storytelling format, the book tries to explain airline operations in an uncomplicated manner, aiming to serve as an engaging in-flight entertainment medium for children and teenagers, and draw interest of adults too. Besides, ‘Airborne’ touches upon good cabin courtesy and includes tips for one to have a pleasant flying experience, says a statement issued by Vistara.

Airborne is being given to Vistara’s young travellers at the check-in counters, trying to generate greater interest among them about the aviation industry.

“Airborne is our sincere effort at engaging with children and our young flyers in an interesting and meaningful way. Impressions formed early on in life last forever, and with Airborne, we aim to catch their imaginations and fuel their fascination for air travel by getting them acquainted to its many aspects. Needless to say, this will also help our future generation become more considerate flyers,” said Rashmi Soni, Vice President and Head, Corporate Communications & CSR, Vistara.
