Stock Market ends in the red; Sensex loses 500 points
The Indian stock market ended in the red on Tuesday, with the Nifty falling below the 23,900-mark and the Sensex dropping nearly 500 points.
The Sensex of the BSE was up 173.72 points or 0.53 45 per cent at 39,137.56 points at 1207 hours.

After opening on a negative note on Wednesday Indian markets turned green during the intraday session.

The Sensex had closed at 38,963.84 points on Tuesday.

Yes Bank with 2.61 per cent remained the top gainer, followed by HCL Tech (2.59 per cent) and SBI (2.07 per cent). Whereas, HUL (-1.03 per cent) IndusInd Bank (-0.46 per cent) and ONGC (-0.69 per cent) were the top three drags during the intraday trade.
On the other hand, the broader 50-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) was at 11,640.55 points.
