Odisha’s leading digital service provider, Reliance Jio, further solidified its market leadership in the home broadband segment as it added over 2 lakh new JioAirFiber subscribers in 2025.
As per the latest telecom subscription data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the total number of subscribers for Jio’s fixed wireless access (FWA) service JioAirFiber crossed 3.34 lakhs by December 31, 2025.

This included over 2.87 lakh 5G FWA subscribers and over 46,000 UBR FWA subscribers on the Jio network in Odisha.

In fact, JioAirFiber added four times more fixed wireless access (FWA) subscribers than its nearest competitor, Airtel, in Odisha in 2025. As per the data, the total FWA subscriber base in Odisha crossed the 4 lakh mark in December 2025 from around 1.5 lakhs in January 2025.

The total number of home broadband subscribers on the Jio network in the state crossed 6.92 lakhs as of December 31, 2025.
JioAirFiber alone witnessed around 20,000 new subscribers joining the Jio 5G FWA and UBR FWA services in December. Nationally, Jio also added the highest number of broadband subscribers, 8.7 lakh, which was double that of its nearest competitor, Airtel.
