Jewellers in Lucknow observed one-day trade shutdown after PM Modi’s appeal
The Lucknow Mahanagar Sarafa Association has called the appeal "unfortunate" and stated that the gold traders had already been witnessing a decline.
On December 10, 2022, the price of gold in India for both 22 and 24 carat have increased . 10 grams of 24 carat gold priced at Rs 54,400 in India, while 10 grams of 22 carat gold cost Rs 49,900.
Over the past 24 hours, minor variations in gold prices have been seen in several major Indian cities.
