The Yogi Adityanath government is all set to make Uttar Pradesh the country’s growth engine through the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC@IV) with the implementation of 14,000 projects worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore.

This will not only strengthen infrastructure and the economy but also prevent migration of youth from the state to other states in search of jobs.

The Yogi Government aims to provide jobs and employment opportunities to more than 34 lakh youth in the state through the projects. These jobs will be available in various sectors, offering opportunities for skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled youths, officials here on Tuesday said.

From Purvanchal to Paschimanchal, and from Madhyanchal to Bundelkhand, there will be no shortage of employment opportunities for the youth.

The Yogi government has launched 14,000 projects in GBC@IV. Out of these, 52 percent of the projects will be implemented in Paschimanchal, 29 per cent in Purvanchal, 14 per cent in Madhyanchal, and 5 per cent in Bundelkhand facilitating employment opportunities for a large number of local youths.

Among the investments, 23 per cent of the projects are over Rs 10,000 crore, 12 per cent are between Rs 5,000 to 10,000 crore, 20 per cent are between Rs 1,000 to 5,000 crore, 10 per cent are between Rs 500 crore to 1,000 crore, 20 per cent are between Rs 100 crore to 500 crore ,10 per cent of the projects are between Rs 20 crore and Rs 100 crore, and 5 per cent are of less than Rs 20 crore.

Among these projects, the manufacturing sector constitutes 21 per cent, the renewable energy sector 13 per cent, IT and electronics 9 per cent, power sector 8 per cent, food processing and real estate 6 per cent in food, MSME 5 per cent, as well as hospitality and entertainment, waste management, and education sectors 3 per cent each.

Additionally, the healthcare, wood-based industries, distillery, dairy, cooperative, handloom and textile, pharma and medical devices, and animal husbandry sectors will also see launch of significant number of projects with potential to create employment opportunities on a large scale. also play a significant role.

Several major institutions are involved in providing employment through big projects. For example, Torrent Power Limited will invest Rs 22,800 crore in Sonbhadra, providing employment to 4,800 youth.

Similarly, M3M India Private Ltd. will invest Rs 7,500 crore in Gautam Buddh Nagar, creating jobs for 14,000 youth. Air India SATS Airport Services Private Ltd. will invest Rs 4,000 crore in Gautam Buddh Nagar, offering employment to 5,000 youth.

In addition, Fun Zoo Toys will invest Rs 1,052 crores in Gautam Buddh Nagar, providing jobs for 20,000 youth.

– Lodha Group: Investing Rs 3,000 crore in Ayodhya, creating jobs for 100 people

– Sarraf Group: Investment of Rs 1,250 crore in Moradabad, providing employment for 1,250 people

– Ashok Leyland: Investment of Rs 1,000 crore in Lucknow, generating employment for 500 people

– JSW Energy: Investing Rs 8,000 crore in Sonbhadra, creating jobs for 840 people

– Tata Technology: Investment of Rs 4,200 crore in Lucknow, generating employment for 450 people

– Varun Beverages: Investing Rs 3,500 crores in Prayagraj, Amethi, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot, providing employment for 1,500 people

– Century Group: Investing Rs 4,000 crore in Moradabad, creating jobs for 800 people

– Dalmia Cement: Investment of Rs 3,000 crore in Mirzapur, generating employment for 2,500 people.
