JK industries coming back
The coming back of JK Group in Bengal after nearly five decades has been welcomed by businessmen from the state.
The who’s who from the world of business, innovation and entrepreneurship descended at the The Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi, in the evening of 9 June for the Global Business Awards 2018.
Organised to identify the outstanding achievements by organisations that enhances the industry’s progress, the awards were given with an aim to recognise businesses and their conductors across all sectors, open to organisation or an individual based anywhere in the world.
Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba presented the awards to the winners.

“It is humbling to be among so many achievers. Ultimately the heroes and heroines of tonight are all of you,” said Lamba, while addressing the gathering.
The companies and individuals who were honoured included Rakesh Jain, Rajesh Satija, Panipat Handlooms, Sakshi Mittal of Ivanka Lumiere, Anil Kohli of Chai-Pe-Charcha, Petronet LNG, and Movie Time.
A scintillating dance performance punctuated the evening, which was followed by a free interactive session between the business owners over dinner.
Global Business Awards was conceptualised by Mayank Kharayat, Pankaj Kapri, Sahil Vyas, Sachin Vyas and Mahesh Sharma. Created and organised by the team of MediaKraft Marketing in association with Absolute Advertising, the 2018 event was helmed by four MBA students from New Delhi Institute of Management, Tughlakabad – Saurabh Singh Rajput, Sourav Jyoti Das, Nivedita Singh and Trisha Ghosh.
