The first position in the category of self-composed poems as well as ‘Enact an Act’ was bagged by Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan. The team from OP Jindal Model School, Hisar won the second position in creative writing and poetry recitation.

Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, in collaboration with the Old Springdalian Association (OSA), hosted the 16th Kusum Verma Memorial National Inter-School English Festival in memory of Late Kusum Verma, former head of the English department.

Dr Jyoti Bose, Director, Springdales Schools, urged the students to use the power of words to instill hope and courage for a shared future built on diversity.

This year, the Creative Fiesta paid a tribute to the “Spirit of Humanity”. How empathy and tolerance help sustain this diverse tapestry was enunciated in the poetry rendition by the participants.

‘Enact an Act’ showcased how India’s strength is rooted in its diversity and the hope for a glorious future lies in peaceful coexistence.

Many schools from Delhi, NCR as well as from Udaipur, Hisar and Jaipur participated in the event.

The first position in the category of self-composed poems as well as ‘Enact an Act’ was bagged by Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan.

The team from OP Jindal Model School, Hisar won the second position in creative writing and poetry recitation.

The Overall Trophy was awarded to Springdales School, Pusa Road, with first prize in creative writing and poetry recitation.
