Critical Minerals Summit in Delhi from Monday
The Ministry of Mines will hold a Critical Minerals Summit from April 29 to April 30 at the India Habitat Centre in Lodhi Estate, New Delhi, the ministry said in a press note on Sunday.
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, popularly known as the IP University, will mark its 16th Convocation with the release of a silver jubilee postal stamp on Tuesday.
Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena, who is also the Chancellor of the university will preside over the function, while the chief guest of the occasion, Niti Ayog CEO B V R Subrahmanyam will deliver the Convocation Address.
According to the Controller of Examination of the varsity Prof Gulshan Kumar, a total of 24,708 degrees, including 77 gold medals and 82 Ph Ds will be awarded on the occasion.

Also, a gold medal in memory of the former registrar of the university, late B P Joshi will also be given to one of the students.
Delhi Education and PWD Minister Atishi and Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar will be guests of honour on the occasion.
The IP University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mahesh Verma will present the University Report while a First Day Cover of the Silver Jubilee Book and Commemorative Coin will also be released on the day.
