Maitreyi College organized a National Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights in association with Singh & Associates, a full-time law service firm at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi.

Department of Botany, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi hosted a National Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) with the association of Singh & Associates, a leading full-service law firm at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi.

Workshop’s theme was Current Status and Future Prospects. The main aim of the workshop was to facilitate knowledge sharing and raising IPR awareness among the participants on the current status and future prospects of Intellectual Property Rights.

The program consisted of various interactive sessions on Patents & Information Technology Based Intellectual Property Rights, Industrial Design and Biotechnology Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, Plant Genetic Resources and Intellectual Property Rights.

Mr Shrimant Singh, Senior Principal Associate, Singh & Associates, Ms Suchi Rai, Senior Principal–Associate, Singh & Associates and Dr Arun Kumar Maurya, Assistant Professor, CCS University, Meerut, U.P were the key speakers.

Dr Haritma Chopra, Principal of Maitreyi College, University of Delhi delivered the welcome address and the vote of thanks.
