DMRC: Train services on Yellow Line regulated owing to signaling issue
Normal train services are available on the rest of the sections of Yellow Line.
Train services in the Howrah division were reportedly disrupted following train engine breakage of 13190 Balurghat-Sealdah Express in the wee hours today. The disruption occurred between Khamargachi and Triveni in the Nabadwip-Bandel section of Howrah division.
According to the Eastern Railway, the express train was detained on down main line from 2.58am for the reported breakage and entanglement with the overhead wire. Repairing work at the site was carried out on a war footing by the tower van while single line working was introduced between Jirat and Triveni and the trains were passed via upline till completion of the overhead repairing.
As informed by the ER, the repairing of the overhead wires in the down line was completed at 10.05am. Normal train services in the Bandel-Nabadwip section were restored after that.
