An app-based cab driver was arrested today by police from Tiljala police station after a television serial actress of a popular channel lodged a complaint against him for allegedly misbehaving with and harassing her in the moving car this morning.
Police sources said 25- year-old Swastika Dutta was picked up from her Picnic Garden residence by the appbased cab which she booked at around 8.15 a.m. to reach her shooting destination.
Soon after she got into the car, the driver started to misbehave with her and hurled abusive words. When the actress protested against his behaviour, the driver allegedly abused and molested her after cancelling her trip near 42 bus stand on Chandra Nath Roy Road in Tiljala.

The actress also alleged that the driver threw away her belongings before forcefully pushing her out of the cab.
